Our History

AJAM-Apostles of Jesus Aids Ministries is a Faith-Community Based Organization (FBO), established in the year 2000 by the Apostles of Jesus missionaries Institute and registered on the 23rd December 2002; to effectively and pastorally respond to Pastoral challenges posed by the emergence of the HIV&AIDS scourge.Over the last 14 years of its existence, AJAM has grown to become one of the leading National Faith Based Organization responding to HIV&AIDS as a Pastoral Agent in Kenya.

Our main focus is building the capacities of individuals and communities infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, thus empowering them to get involved in the decisions and management of their own lives and development. When a community so Empowered with knowledge and skills, they are more likely to make a visible impact on HIV/AIDS and Poverty Reduction.

AJAM is a Faith-Based Organization established to deal with HIV/AIDS community interventions in Kajiado County, Kenya, East Africa. The mission of AJAM is to enable communities in Kenya and neighbouring countries to be active participants in the war against HIV&AIDS and poverty. AJAM also fosters the improvement in the human development of its target communities through capacity building, advocacy, effective partnership and direct services.

Our Purpose

Motivated by Faith in God, committed to the services of the poor and marginalized, we reach out to people of different cultures, religions and ideologies.
